How do I delete a membership?

I still can not delete XXX YYY from our program.  Can you make this easier to do?  We do have several duplicate records that we should be able to edit and get rid of.  The program tells me that it cannot delete a person when you have membership information in the database.  I have tried to go in and delete the membership information for a person.  However, this is a required field and you can't delete it, only change it, which doesn't solve the problem.


To delete a membership, you have to go to the membership record then delete the record with the red X on the top of the screen.
The Delete Record button is in the tool bar:

Once you delete the memberships, phone numbers, addresses, mailing lists, transcripts, certifications, etc that are tied to a person, that person can then be deleted from the database.
Note that you may have to save changes before trying to delete the person.  (Diskette Icon in tool bar!)
